budget system configuration for development

I need to build a pc for software development (workstation) to run applications like visual studio 2017 or android studio and run virtual machine.

I have an evga 430w power supply, samsung ssd and corsair 100r case.

What would be the processor and other hardware that matches my requirement ?

  1. Any modern CPU with 16 GB or RAM and a solid state hard drive will do what you want it to do well. What CPU you get depends on the budget.

Is it a good option according to my need?

That CPU and platform at dead now but if you don't mind not having an upgrade path it will be good for you. The power supply is a bit iffy but again will be functional. This is under $40 after rebate and is much better quality https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16817151074
