Hello all,

Built my current system listed below in 2013 and am wondering if it is a good time to do a new build:

CPU: i5-3570K
GPU: MSI GTX 770 2GB
MB: ASUS P8Z77-V LK 1155 ATX
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
SSD: Samsung 840 256GB
PSU: CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX650 650W ATX12V/EPS12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC
Case: Fractal Design R4

I also already had a couple of WD HDDs and an optical drive. My monitor is an ASUS IPS screen at 1920x1080, 60 hz. My idea is to re-use the case, PSU, HDDs and SSD, and the monitor, and upgrade the CPU, MB, GPU, RAM, and a new SSD to this:

Thoughts? I know the 1070 is powerful for 1080p but I am wanting to build in a bit of space for the future and I am not really thinking about upgrading to a 1440 anytime soon. I live near a Microcenter so I can bundle the CPU and MB. Also, is now a good time to upgrade in terms of product cycles, etc.? I do like to game at a high quality and with some of the games out now and coming soon (Arkham Knight, Mass Effect) my system is starting to show its age.

I have not overclocked the CPU, no. So you think just upgrading the GPU is enough? Not worth it yet to upgrade the 3570k?
