Virtual audio splitter cable?

Since I don't feel like buying an audio splitter cable, are there any drivers or methods I can use to make my earbuds give in a mic input while taking in audio simultaneously?

Isn't this for OSX? I'm still looking through the related ones right now. I remember I had a Dell laptop with its audio driver. It came with a headset option which combined the input and output as one jack. I'm not very good at this software stuff, so sorry if the answer was right on the page you shared.

That's just a general list, you don't have to use Soundflower. You didn't list whether you're looking for freeware, paid, freemium, etc so the list is probably easier you can find the one that works for you. Generally speaking when looking for software I go to Alternative To
