New 1080p monitor is blurry

I recently purchased a new 1080p 144hz monitor and for some reason it doesn't look very HD?
I have also noticed in device manager - monitor it says generic pnp monitor and not my monitor.
I am pretty sure my graphics card can support it and I am using a dual link dvi connection.

My nvidia driver are up to date and my computer is like a year old it is just the monitor the ''tis new.

I would uninstall your GPU drivers fully (can use DDU in safe mode for best results) http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

And then reinstall with the new monitor. That should fix it.
