Downloads file when open page on Tom's Hardware

I noticed when ever I refresh a page or open up a new page on tom's it downloads a file called usnc. It doesn't have an extension, just says the the file type is file.

I am using chrome, there are no pop ups is just downloads the file.

That's quite strange, I'm getting it as well.
Just googled and realized this is happening worldwide!

Yep just got it literally 60 seconds ago... I closed the browser and scanned it straight away cause I've never seen it before haha. Anyone know what the heck it is? o-0

*Edit* After a brief browse it seems to be something to do with a bug in adverts, tons of sites are having this issue or so i'm told.

It appears to have gone now, It looks like it was from an advert company called Feature Forward. Shouldn't be anything to worry about. Managed to end up with about 50 of them in the end.
