GTX 1070 in it? Seriously this is something cool for gaming, but $2700 is quite high. With such specification, a gamer can build a PC in around $2000.
Check out these specs:
CPU: Intel - Core i7-7700K 4.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($329.89 @ OutletPC)
CPU Cooler: Corsair - H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($99.99 @ Corsair)
Motherboard: Asus - PRIME Z270-A ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($149.89 @ OutletPC)
Memory: G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3200 Memory ($243.97 @ OutletPC)
Storage: Samsung - 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($107.88 @ OutletPC)
Storage: Seagate - Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($69.89 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: EVGA - GeForce GTX 1080 8GB Superclocked Gaming ACX 3.0 Video Card ($498.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Case: NZXT - Phantom (Black) ATX Full Tower Case ($114.99 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: Corsair - CXM 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($76.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $1692.48

They need to work a bit on the price.

You forgot the G-sync monitor and mechanical keyboard in your numbers. Oh and how about the fact that you can pick it up and take it pretty much anywhere with you.

While I agree that $2700 is steep, comparing it to desktop parts is pretty useless.

Compare it to laptops with a GTX 1070 in them like this Sager one for $1629: http://www.xoticpc.com/sager-np8157-clevo-p650hs-g.html
