PC to 4k TV (hdmi cable) display not smooth.

hello there, any suggestion what is the problem with my set up? i have i5 4460k 16gb ram, gtx750 gpu but the display on my 2nd monitor (4k tv) does stutter.anyone can help me with this?

does your 4K TV have an hdmi 2.0 or better connection and if so is your hdmi cable 2.0. Using 1.4 can drop your frame rate/Hz down to 30 though nvidia does allow for 4:2:0 subsampling for a 60hz 4K image. At 4:4:4 subsampling 4K is limited to 30hz on hdmi 1.4. So some of this can be settings. Can you verify your resolution and Hz?

I think my tv has 2.0 port as it is indicated on the reviews (sony x7000D)..i think my problem here is my hdmi cord since it is already old.but im not sure though..

if your hdmi cable is old that is where i would start. order a new one that is 2.0a/b and see if that fixes it
