How to Setup my monitor for 1920*1080 resolution?

See I just bought a new Gigabyte GTX 1050TI 4GB gpu .
I have an lg flatron E1942 monitor .
but everytime i try to increase resolution from 1366*768 to any higher the screen goes black and says
"out of range
67.4 kHz / 60Hz"
what to do??
i want to play games at high resolution.
??

1366 x 768 is maximum resolution supported by this monitor. So you can't use any higher resolution.
