Can't type numbers in login screen

I can't even login into my pc because I can't even type the numbers in for my password. My keyboard is acting like im holding the shift key except that it doesn't put letters in caps but replaces numbers with symbols now you may say use the on screen keyboard except it does thee exact same thing so this has to be an issue with my pc. One more thing I tried typing on the numpad and nothing showed up at all so I'm assuming that my pc cannot even type numbers at all or hopefully for the moment.

Did you try another keyboard and maybe plug your cable into a different slot.

I have tried another keyboard , the on screen keyboard and that didn't work either
