What is your apocalypse game plan? My game plan would be to stock up on Guns and Ammo and also a sword and shield. Also I cannot forget about food stocks. This way when the apocalypse comes I am ready.

How you would survive the four horseman, a zombie attack, a plague of pestilence and horror? Let us know how you would survive the apocalypse no matter the type! I would equip my team with guns and ammo. I would fight with a sword and shield while my team picks off the enemy from mid range.

find some friends, find some guns, find as much food with the latest expiration dates as possible, find a place that could be fortified and defended, start farming & hunting & brewing alcohol. go all Fallout, Wasteland, Rage, crazy on all the monsters & bandits. setup some solar panels for the hardware in my gaming bombshelter-dungeon with all that i can find of games worth playing, movies worth watching, and albums worth hearing. then focus on repopulating with my captured monster-bandit woman.

I don't have a plan. I would probably be one of the first to die.
I could survive for a while against zombies. Maybe hit some with a stick or pierce some eyeballs but I can imagine I wouldn't last long..

I have 6 days of water in the attic, 6 days of food. More if my wife and dog don't make it through the outbreak.
I got the gear and knowledge to live off the land (northern temperate climate), also kept in the attic.
My apartment has a security door.
I have 3 pairs of glasses still in range of usability.
I have maps.

Things I'd have to pick up before leaving civilization behind:
- medical supplies (more than the small pack I keep stocked and up to date)
- weapons (melee, I have. Bow would be good for hunting. Fishing gear might be useful. Guns might be required and the only place I know where to get those is not somewhere I will be going in the case of Apocalypse)
- additional fuel (cooking and vehicle. plus batteries)
- a boat (Coz I'm not going to pass by any of the choke-points leading to low population land and most scenarios call for leaving people/victims/infectors behind)
- human powered radio

Disclaimer: I hike and camp. And I am prepared to lose power in my house coz it is old with shitty wiring (and the security door is coz the owner used to live there and he wasn't fond of his neighbours/renters). I do not have this stuff because I expect the end of the world to actually come. I'd have a garage rented with a fully equipped (food+water for a month at least, fuel, weapons, medical supplies) van at the edge of my city (and probably live closer to it) if that was the case.

If I end up winning this, please re-roll.
Doesn't actually seem like my game, but I enjoyed answering this.

I am woefully unprepared for any sort of apocalypse. There are plenty of things required for survival and I'm pretty sure I don't know any of them. I don't have any combat skills either. I live in a fairly big city and that's probably a disadvantage. There are more vectors for the plagues to spread and as for food, depending on the number of people alive, there could be more or less competition.

Short term:
So first I'd gather some information on what we're facing exactly; if the internet is still accessible, or just by looking around stealthily. I'm not sure I'd need a weapon, but if I did, I'd probably start with an iron pipe of sorts, if I could find one. Then I'd go out and secure food and water. This could be tough depending on the competition. I'd start exploring a small territory and get familiar with it if there's enough food; make some bases/safe spots.

Long term:
I can't do this alone so hopefully I can find a few others with useful knowledge who could help build a more sustainable environment. It could be difficult finding useful people though, and I definitely don't want to integrate a large group, at least not immediately, since the food requirements would also be large... This should be pretty tough honestly.

All in all, I'd really want to max out my luck stat before the apocalypse. I'll be depending a lot on good fortune to survive an apocalypse.

the whole plan is not to have any plan :)
but my i am guessing that if there will be an apocalypse then there wont be much food and everybody will fight for food.
so, being well equipped with food and a lot of guns to defend my self will be the best plan

I don't have a plan. I would probably just find a place to hide and then improvise from there. Probably be one of the first to die.

My only plan would be is probably making my way to the local police station for a weapon, pillage the supermarkets for a bit of food then gathering information on the zombie outbreak, how severe it is and where is the nearest human controlled territory.

I would survive by saving up and making use of all the resources around (depends where I am) me for all apocalypses. Use infants and elderly as bait/sacrifice for zombie-like apocalypse as they're pretty much useless in a situation like this and elderlies are on the brink of death anyways, lol. Feed the babies to the zombies, who needs them, they'll only slow you down. The group of non-infants (kid to middle-aged) would be helpful in many ways, they could help scavenge materials, and provide healthcare and education which would extend the survivability. Once the apocalypse is over, those who are near middle-age or middle aged could reproduce. Those who are medical experts would be able to prevent the plagues from happening or find a way to stop it. Those who are part of the military during the apocalypse could help escort those who don't have anything to fight with against the zombies and horsemen, while fighting those enemies.

This is not some situation where you simply 'fight' them off to survive. Surviving takes more into consideration.
