10000s pictures recovered from data recovery pro help with cutting down the non sense icon jpeg and other files

Hi guys hope I'm posting in the right area, I have accidentally deleted precious photos of my only child's birth via quick format (I thought my flash drive was selected but it was my external hdd) it was too late before I noticed what I did. I used data recovery pro and transferred those pictures to a internal hdd. Now unfortunately I have over 15000 pictures to go through to find a select maybe 50. I want to organize or sort somehow through the duds. Any help is appreciated. Toms hardware is my go to site for any computer related ussues

Try sorting them by date modified

Thank you. Was able to sort them by dimension and was very easily able to find them
