windows login screen not showing?

Booted my laptop into safe mode using system config now i dont see way to login help. i have files on there that i need. i tried doing shift plus restart tried pressing and holding f8 with shift trying to get it in repair mode I dont know what to do.
Dont have antoher computer.
Its asus q55olf.

Can you please try the suggestions given here? Although they may or may not work, they are still worth trying.

If the suggestions don't work, you can boot Windows in Safe Mode again, and try Restoring Windows to an Earlier State from there.

Running the SFC /SCANNOW Command from the Safe Mode might also help.
