I 'm using a R9 380 4GB on a 32" 1440p monitor with a Seasonic M12II 620W

A local store here in the Philippines is having a clearance sale of "old" gpus.
R9 Fury 4GB cost around $215. R9 390x 8GB cost around $202.

R9 Fury is sold out

Is it worth it to upgrade to a 390x or should I just go with a 580?

Sapphire 580 8GB Nitro cost around $303. the cheapst 580 8GB is the Gigabyte (non aorous) which cost around $256

Performance wise the R9 390x 4 & 8GB and the RX 580 8GB are about at the same level. The RX 580 is a newer more modern GPU, it consumes a lot less power than the the R9 390 and is also more future proof. I don't think it's worth to get an R9 390 8GB unless you are gaming at very high resolutions that need that extra memory, otherwise you won't see any difference. Getting the RX 580 makes more sense but then again it has almost the same performance as your current GPU. If I were you I'd wait a couple of months and then get a new more powerful GPU or get a then discounted RX 580.
