so, since lately i'm having issues with win7 i was thinking to add a SSD drive and make a clean win 10 installation
but i have read that the samsung 850 series is good but it has issues when installing win10

so i would like some recommendation for a SSD that will have the sole purpose of installing win10 and all the programs that usualy go strictly in C
250gb should be more than enought
i want something that good and affidable and will last for quite some years
it doesnt need to be the absolue fastest on the market i just want the system to boot up and be ready to use fast

It will not give you any issues during the OS install.
Where did you read this, so that we may debunk the clueless people who wrote that.

i was reading SSD revviews before making this post and in comment section many reported that win10 did not recognize the 850 and in order to install they had to install win10 on a normal drive then clone it on the 850 wich is something i can't do if this issue happen and i would have wasted money

people also say it is fixed with the samsung magician something but how can i install it if the OS itself won't install??

also i'm farly sure i've seen some topic on the issue right here on toms forum

Well...
I have an 850 EVO 500GB, running Win 10 Pro just fine.
Clean install (when I changed hardware) on it last November.

No idea what those people are talking about...but that drive WILL WORK JUST FINE.
