I was just browsing the internet, had to leave the house for a brief moment so I left the computer on but turned the monitor off. I returned from my trip, turned my monitor back on and I'm greeted with the message "No signal".

I'm using a 144hz monitor connected via DisplayPort to my RX 480.
I tried using the other DP ports, no success. I tried using a HDMI cable connected directly to the motherboard, no success.
When I connected the HDMI cable to the RX 480, it suddenly worked, but that's not a permanent solution since it's capped to 60hz.

I used a dual monitor setup with HDMI to check if the RX 480 detects my DisplayPort cable, and it does, but it shows up as "Generic PnP Monitor" which shows up on the screen as "No signal". I also checked the screen's drivers, they seem to be fine.

Now I'm wondering, did I just have unlucky timing with the DisplayPort cable breaking, or are the RX 480 DisplayPort ports broken?
