Trouble Finding Good Motherboard

I am getting a Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 for a budget gaming build and I am having issue finding a motherboard i'd really trust for over clocking said processor. Ive read comments about people saying theyve gotten it safely to 3.4 ghz but ive never figured out what 775 socket motherboard they use. If anyone could give me a bit of help it would be quick appreciated. No preference on form factor or ram type, but must at least to be able to have 8gbs.

unless it's all coming in at under £$100, then don't bother. It's a very old processor, good in it's day, very poor now.

In fact if it is coming in at under £$100 then I still would say not to, the money will be wasted.
