After a couple of weeks reading and fitting together a build I came to this exact build.
My question in particular is if the build/monitor combo is a go or no-go? As well as the necessity for extra fans for outflow (maybe one 120mm on top)?

This build will be used mostly for fps games like csgo and bf1 and some rpg's like Witcher 3 and fallout.

All comments are welcome and especially the negative one's cause they make one reflect better, in my opinion ;)

Kinda have a hard time recommending i5 builds, now that Ryzen 1600/1600x is out. Don't need the Arctic silver either. Cooler supplied compound is plenty good.

I would love to use a ryzen 5 1600x paired with a x370 mobo. The only thing I'm afraid of is the early adapter phase where the boards bios is not yet on point. As a first build I wouldn't know what to do, is it hard to setup everything right or does this have a flat learning curve?

u can oc the 1600 to the levels of 1600X easily. the 1600 would start to thermal throttle early compared to 1600X. u dont need an x370 unless u r gonna be using 2 gpu. a b350 is more than enough. the latest bios updates r based on agesa 1.0.0.6 meaning, 3000/3200 mhz r available with A-XMP

You make a valid point but I'ld rather not oc(yet) and with the 1600x the base clock is higher to begin with. Money wise it is not such a big problem. Would the be quiet pure rock be ok for this set-up. It would be more aesthetically pleasing to me than the dark rock. And when I would feel comfortable to oc would this be adequate?
