Problem with TV monitor lightning

Just as I came from work and turned on my PC I saw my 40' TV very dark and brown.

I checked it's settings and it seems it's not a configuration problem

This is how it looks now: http://imgur.com/a/0mM7b

Did the backlight break? how much could it cost me to replace it?

Solution
BIOS being dark eliminates a driver as the issue.
cables are good.
Have you tried another monitor in the port on the GPU that the dark monitor is in? if another monitor works in that port the GPU is good leaving the monitor as the fault. Sorry I was hoping for a cable issue, the blue indicated there may indicate a failure on the logic board in the monitor

check the cable connections at each end. go ahead and unhook the cables and hook them up again.
if the back-light were out the screen would be black and the images onscreen would be very hard to see they certainly would not be photograph-able

I can guarantee that it's connected properly, but as I disconnected the cable the screen went bright blue with an unreadable message

the first image you posted brought back many memories of bad/loose video cables. swap cables with the monitor next to it just to make sure.
in any case I can rule out the back light as the problem.
have you swapped inputs with the monitor next to it?
if you boot into the BIOS does the monitor still look like a photo negative?

And now blue pixels are appearing mostly in the darker parts of the screen:

Does that mean anything? I'd be really happy if I could just get it to work normally by just replacing the cable and not have to replace something complicated

I've just tried with a completely new HDMI cable and I get the same result.
I've also tried connecting que power cable to a different socket but nothing.
And BIOS also looks dark
