What is the type of DVI cable that the ASUS vq248qe uses?

I have bought multiple VGA to DVI adapters for my second moniter to fit my DVI only motherboard, but none have worked. I tried my main monitors cable (the asus vq248qe) and it worked. so i'm asking for the exact name of the type of DVI cable my main mointor uses, so i don't have to buy multiple again. that would be MSI z270 gaming pro. But one of the VGA to dvi adapters i bought, fit motherboard, but still didn't send any signal to my moniter

I did that, and i know my way around the bios. I just need to know what DVI cable it is. I think its a DVI-D cable

Yes, the board's port is DVI-D.
Therefore, for DVI-D to VGA you'd need an active converter. A passive adapter does not work.

There wont be a problem if i use 2 DVI-D cables, right? One in GPU and one in Mobo. That just seems like the easiest way foward

If the monitor does support DVI (D or I), then yes, a DVI-D cable would work.
