Maximum Processor Frequency 0MHz?

I was checking power settings in Control Panel/Power Option/Edit Plan Settings and happened to notice that Win10 defaults to The above setting of 0 MHz. That's not right, is it? Shouldn't that be the max frequency of the CPU?

the 0 is default, meaning it will go as high as it is able.

Leave it at 0MHz. It's the "unrestricted" setting. I have mine on 0MHz also.

I don't understand why the default isn't infinity then instead of zero. But then hey, what do I know. I'll leave it as is.

technically it is infinity. a setting of 0 allows your cpu to set the max rate instead of you hard coding it when you change the cpu out to a new one.
