Hey guys, so Samsung is releasing a new set of monitors with 144hz and Quantum Dot, but I don't know what the main differences between the old and new models are gonna be, and if it is worth waiting for it to release. If anyone can enlighten me on the displays differences, apart from the stand, it would be much appreciated, thank you.

Thanks man, so would you say that it is not worth the wait and extra money to buy the LC24FG73? I'm mainly gonna play videogames on it, and the C24FG70 is on a sale right now.

You're welcome. Really depends on personal preferences and requirements. If the above differences don't matter to you - then, yes, get the C24FG70 for the price (it has most of the same features that matter to you anyway). Personally, I don't like the stand of the older version, and I also am particular with color reproduction, so, I like the new version better (but that's just for me).

I own the Samsung C27FG70 and going from a Asus 24'' VG248Q to this is really mind blowing with the vivid colors. Takes some getting used too, the curve and the extra size.

... thats what she said.
