Will disabling Cortana remove search function for Classic Shell?

Hello.

I know that disabling Cortana (By renaming or deleting the file it's in) will also disable the standard search bar.
Would the same happen with the Classic Shell search bar, or could I still use it?

You shouldnt have to rename or delete any files. Just by right clicking and and unchecking it should work jsut fine. Do you have a 3rd-party theme or something?

No, I'm wanting to fully disable Cortana, which requires me to edit its actual file. Doing this will disable the standard Windows search bar.

What I'm asking, is if it will disable the search bar in Classic Shell, which is a replacement to the start menu.

No, Classic Shell's search is unaffected by Cortana. You can even uninstall Cortana but Classic Shell will continue to work.
