ASUS MX27UQ or LG 31MU97? Which one is better for console gaming

Hi.

I was thinking about buying a 4K monitor for Xbox One S (I know it's too soon, But I was thinking about buying one for my PC).

I know that LG 31MU97 is True 4K but Asus looks better for gaming because of the border, even with the 3840x2160 resolution.

Also, is 60Hz enough? Or do I need 144Hz for console gaming?

nah it is overkill and waste of money, why dont you get a tv instead? high refresh rate on monitor is too much for console, especially they run with relatively not so high fps and some of them still using upscalling in resolution like 4k instead of real resolution
