I have a 2004 dodge neon i got the gasket fix the thermostat fix and its still runs hot but there's no leak some days it doesn't run hot but now there is a white smoke coming from the tailpipe can i still drive it?help
You may not see a leak per se. Coolant gets into the engine somewhere when the engine is cool. White smoke for awhile until the engine heats up, something expands, and the leak closes.
Do not recommend driving as a leak could be a precursor to a catastrophic failure resulting in more damage.
Go back to whomever fixed the gasket and thermostat. They may not have done the job correctly.
