Windows update failure

Ok so i just updated my windows 10 os with the update that came out on june 13 2017 and restarted my laptop i signed in but now im stuck on the waiting for it to load and the screen it said "Hi we got some updates for your Pc this will take several minutes" so its been about 6 hrs and its still on this so obviously something is wrong
What can i do about this?

Whenever that happens to me (and it happens a lot) I just restart the computer. So far it has worked.

oh believe me ive tried that and i ended up getting the same result, either way the issue is solved
Ended up having to reset my computer but everything i had was backed up so it was ni big deal
