Vic 40 :
See alot of things that can be the problem.
Two 2400mhz ram is i think too high of a speed for the cpu. Try to run it at 1866 with timings that match. You don't really specify witch ram so can't really say more, maybe just leave timings at auto and lower the speed if it is trying to run 2400mhz now.Look for DOCP or EOCP in the bios, look for a 1866mhz profile and try that.
The motherboard isn't afaik considered a very good one with not very good vrm design which maybe result in overheating of that. Do you also have problems when using the pc with the side panel off? Best would be to point a table fan at it.
The psu isn't also considered a very good series.might well be that this one works fine, but can you test with another one? Maybe from a friend or a local shop ...
The next way gives a decent way to monitor sensors,
download
hwinfo32,
install and open it,
check "sensors-only",
click "run".
for cpu temps you'd be better off with AMD Overdrive, look at the thermal margin, the bigger the difference the better.
For better ram specs can you do the next,
open Hwinfo32 =click run (don't check/uncheck sensors only),
close the top window which is the system summary,
in the main window at the left top click "save report",
at the bottom of the next window check "short text report",
after that you'll see what's in the pc,
You could copy the whole of it here by clicking "copy to clipboard" and rightclick+paste in your next respons or just the ram specs.
My ram is running at 666.6 MHz already. I'm unable to test the computer with another psu. The fans in my computer aren't great and I use the stock fan for my cpu. I ran a benchmark for a few minutes with overdrive and hwinfo running to watch temperatures, this is the result
http://i.imgur.com/eWNeR0f.png The thermal margin could reach -10 at times sometimes more, plus this is right after booting so over extended use I'd imagine this could rise? When the computer isn't running anything the thermal margin sits around 30. Also included in the image is some information about the ram in CPU-Z.
EDIT: This is the HWInfo report.
