I am getting an rx 580 8gb (if I can with all the miners around) and a ryzen 1500x as part of my first pc setup in a week or so and I do not have a monitor. My build will be able to run most games above 100fps at ultra and near 144fps at medium/high. I want to get into games such as CS:GO and overwatch (having played it on Xbox). What I am wondering, is should I go for the LG 24MP68VQ which has freesync, 75hz, ips and 5ms response time or the AOC g2460pf which also has freesync, 144hz, tn and 1ms response time?
Is the jump from 75 to 144hz that noticeable, will ips be much better and will I notice the difference in response times?
Also, the LG monitor is £135 while the AOC is £200

Solution
Go for the AOC one as the response time is less. And yes, the jump from 75Hz to 144Hz will be very much noticeable.
75Hz would cause lags and microstutters even when AMD Freesync is turned as your build is very capable.
P.S. If you cannot get the 580 8GB, look for an 480 8GB. If both cannot be found, your next choice would be the 1060 6GB but you won't benefit from Freesync from this card.
