Need help with display changing color when starting up a game

My problem ONLY occurs when I launch a game. When I launch CIV VI (or any game) the launcher immediately turns a light red color. The color will stay through out the whole game.

The good news is that I have found a temporary solution by hitting CTRL + T. I have to do this every time I start up a game, and the light red color goes away.

Could someone please help me figure out what is causing this issue. Please advise.

I would try reinstalling your graphics drivers.

If that doesn't help - try re-seating your GPU.

Its an MSI laptop with GTX 1060. I'll try to reinstall.
