I just did a clean re-install of windows 10; can I recover the files in the windows.old folders or do I have to delete them?

I just did a clean re-install of windows 10 and I've got the windows.old and windows.old000 folders which have about 150gb of files between them, is it possible to recover all of these files back? Doing a quick google takes me to pages that want me to download programs and I am little suss on downloading anything right now.

Just look through there for whatever you might find.
At most, some of your personal docs and files. Not applications.

No, you can't just delete them.
You have to go through Disk Cleanup.
