Is it okay to use a pc without a cpu cooler?

The title is a tad misleading, I already know it not, but to be more specific. Is it okay to use a pc without a cpu cooler for a couple minutes if Im not doing anything super cpu intensive. I will be mostly just moving pictures to a portable hard drive and looking at specific settings to use on a new pc. I kind of goofed up and forgot to do all of this before taking the fan out.

Without a cooler it can overheat just booting to windows. I wouldn't do it.

I'd be surprised if it lasted more than about 30 seconds.

Agreed. It would likely shut itself down to save itself before you got anything done.
Not recommended.
