No signal on monitor when I installed my new graphics card but I get a signal when I take it out

I recently got my new graphics card zotac gtx 750ti and ever since I got it I get no signal to my monitor but before when I didnt have it I did get signal what could be wrong? Im using a hp 6200 MT

No its just a plug in gpu and your good to go no 6 pin connector

Yes I did plug in the cable to my gpu which is hdmi then to my monitor but still no signal
