Cant get Win 10 past loading files on new build.

Hello, ive been trying to get this PC running for a couple days now with no luck. After selecting the version i want to use it starts loading files. When the bar is filled it just freezes and eventually i get an error message with a generic trouble shooting option. The HDD is used from another pc of mine but i reformatted it before installing. Im building this PC for my son so he can play a few games.

Asus H61-M LE
i5 2500
Gskill 8gb ddr3 1333 mhz
GTX 1050
250GB hhd
500W PSU

I am currently going to try and install win 7 instead and see if there are still issues.

UPDATE: I switched my USB to the rear USB port and it is loading now. Something is wrong with my front panel it seems.
