Built new computer No display

I just built my new computer and everything turns on but it doesnt show up on my monitors'
i have:
MOBO: Strix z270e gaming
Gpu: Msi gtx 1080 Ti
Cpu: I7 7700k
Ram: Corsair vengeance 2x8gb

Can someone please help me fix this issue. this is my first build so its very new to me. all help is welcomed

pull the gpu and one ram stick see if it posts to onboard video. if it does check to see if the bios is old. if it is update the bios. if the mb wont have video from the gpu after the bios update look for primany dispaly if it set to auto set it tot peg/pci and turn on muilt monitor support.

I tried loading it without the gpu and one of the ram sticks and it still wont load to post. my monitor is saying it doesnt have a signal.

make sure on the mb the 4/8 pin cpu power plug is connected. check that the reset button not smashed in or shorted. try removing the reset cable from the mb see if the mb comes on. check that the clear cmos jumper or switch is in the right position.
