Is My CPU a Bottleneck? and Should I Up Grade?

I have recently upgraded my GPU to a GTX 1070. The card performs great but I cant help but think it could perform better. I am currently rocking a Intel core I5 2500k with a steady overclock to 4.2 Mhz. Would I get a significant frame rate increase if I went to something like a 7700K? and if so how much of an increase should I expect?

Check your CPU usage while gaming. If it's near 100%, a faster CPU would bring your framerates up. If it isn't, a faster CPU would not.

At only 4.2GHz, you probably still have some overclocking headroom.

dont expect more than 15fps if you upgrade to the 7700k and if you have the cooling i recommend attempting to overclock to 4.4-4.6ghz
