Reformatting with Windows 10

Could be an incredibly dumb question, but how do you reformat with Windows 10 if you have no Windows 10 disc and did it from download? Just burn it onto a disc and boot from disc with your makeshift Windows 10 disc?

Well I was hoping there was an option to just reformat instead of update, I'm upgrading from 7 cause I couldn't find my disc and honestly it's just about time I make the jump. There's something wrong with it when I try to boot up some games so that's why I'm upgrading, I've troubleshooted those issues and can't really find much online. Would rather just wipe and start over, not really a burden to me to do so.

Yes, you can create your very own Win 10 DVD or USB install.
Here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Boot from that, install, and during the install wipe out whatever is on that drive.
Are you planning on purchasing a valid Win 10 license for this?
