I have the same problem with Google Chrome on Windows 10. I did everything that was suggested in the posts on this site, renaming the .exe file, deleting system cache file, uninstall, reinstall..., and nothing really worked for longer than a few minutes. I noticed that Internet Explorer, Firefox and Edge work well with Windows 10. I also noticed that since the latest batch of Windows 10 updates, Google Chrome took over Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. I had to change the default setting to open a PDF file from Chrome to Adobe Reader several times this morning. That happened after I uninstalled and reinstalled the Chrome browser. Even more interesting, sometimes when Chrome freezes, I open up Explorer and work on it for a short while, then Chrome starts working well again, for a few minutes. I've been using Chrome since it first came out, about ten years ago, and I got used to it. I don't know if it's better than other browsers. It's just a habit in my opinion.
