I have ordered this Palit GeForce GT 1030 card and i realized that it has DVI port and HDMI port.. should i buy VGA to HDMI port or VGA to DVI port? and what DVI port does Palit GeForce GT 1030 has i am bit confused in specs of the card.
i really dont know the differnce between dvi i and dvi d ... i ordered the card and i checked its specs saying dvi d and in one video on youtube i saw the specs stated as dvi i .. which adapter am i supposed to buy? or should i go with vga to HDMI adapter?
based on the pictures online, the card has a dual link DVI-D. Look at the link i gave you for reference. If it was DVI-I, you would have 4 little holes surrounding the horizontal plug

can i use sigle link dvi d adapter to dual link dvi d cause it looks almost similar.. ?
DVI-D can only send a digital signal, meaning older monitors like CRT ones won't work.
DVI-I can send both digital and analog signal and older monitors like CRT ones will work.

Correct, so the item you linked to wont work. You need an active adapter to convert digital to analog. The one you linked to is passive and only converts DVI-I to VGA (analog to analog).
