Samsung SyncMaster P2770 DVI-I Not working

I just got my monitor cord today and was hoping to be able to hook up double monitors I plugged in the monitor and got a VGA cable with a EVGA DVI-I adapter on one end since the monitor only take DVI-I and HDMI.I plugged everything in and went to go test it. When I turned it on there were only 3 setting HDMI,Analog and Digital I tested every single one but it had no signal to it. Please help

I fixed it now fine just needed another adapter to my graphics card
