I have a 29" ultrawide and a second 22" 16:9 screen. I'm getting another 16:9 screen. Can I play games across all 3 screens? I usually play R6S, Ark, and Fifa 17. Is it worth upgrading from my 970 to a 1080 or 1070 to do this?
Thanks

Depends how you feel about having some games not support surround, since a lot do not. I love surround when it works, but just fysa. And yes, it should work; it will also be easier to drive 6400x1080 than what I run (7680x1440), where a single 1080 isn't close to good enough for demanding games. Surround gives great immersion; especially in racing and flight sims and to a lesser extent in third person and first person open world/rpg games. You'll need the Flawless Widescreen program to get some games to look right https://www.flawlesswidescreen.org/ and here is a list of games that support surround at this point http://www.wsgf.org/mgl/ef_s/ .

I will say it would be better if all your monitors have the same height for immersion...
One question; why? :(
It's a terrible experience, image carry-over is jarring, and the view will give you a headache.
Use them as individual monitors, upgrade your 970 to a 1070 only if you want the extra power which would be helpful even with 2560x1080.
