Microsoft website: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/d/windows-10-home/d76qx4bznwk4/0003
Other website: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1176297-REG/microsoft_kw9_00016_windows_home_10_32_64.html

Sorry for the noob question; is there a difference between buying Windows 10 from the Microsoft website and another website? I guess it is just preference but then I noticed the other website costed less... This lead me to wonder, is there a difference?

Again, sorry if the question is obvious but I don't understand. Thanks in advance.

Solution
Could be just a promotional thing. It's like finding kraft mac & cheese for $2.39 at supermarket X and $1.99 at supermarket Y, but the prices may equalize two weeks later.
As long as site is a legit source, it's the same. In this case, b&h is a reputable source and the difference in price isn't huge (it's not a bogus site offering Windows for 20% the actual price).

Of course, all you really need is the product key. The software can be downloaded for free from Microsoft, and legally it's the activation key you're paying for. So, worry about getting a good key (in this case, it's ok) and the software can always be had.

Do you know the cause for the price difference?
