Update problems with Windows 10 after recent cpu and motherboard change.

Hi so today I replaced my motherboard and cpu with a Asus B85M-E Motherboard and a Intel i5 4460 Quad Core Processor. Once installing all the necessary updates I got it working but still needed to update my Windows 10 to a newer version. When I do this update it goes through a series of updates until it requests a restart to finish. When I restart the computer is still on and running but no matter how much time I wait there will be no display at all from the computer to the monitor. When I turn the computer off and restart it "restores previous windows" and the update needs to be done all over again with the same results. Anyone know what could be wrong ?

I would check the Microsoft forums as they have a list of known bugs with possible solutions.

Yeah I did but it is a previous version and needs to be updated
