Holding a key acts like it were hit repetitively.

I have a mechanical keyboard that works fine. The issue is in gaming. I walk forward or crouch by holding a key, but it acts like I were to keep hitting that key. The crouch, works for like 2 seconds, than makes me stand up and down really fast. I have tried the Filter Keys and all those options, also the repeat rate. None of these work. Is there a way to disable the repeat rate? It is a windows thing, not the keyboard(I have seen this issue on other keyboards). Is there a software that allows me to change this? Please help.

what keyboard do you have? Does it have its own software to run it or does it use MS drivers?
