GPU driver not working properly

I just built a new PC and the specs are:
AMD A8 7600 quadcore processor
ASUS A68HM k mobo
8 GB DDR3 hyperX fury blue
Radeon RX 550 2gb DDR5 gpu.
While there was no problem in the os install, the driver of the graphics card does seem to be malfunctioning. On checking from device manager It did say that the driver is not working. i tried to install a new driver but the results are still the same.
Can someone please shed some light upon whats the issue and how to fix it.

Have you run DDU yet? If no do that now. make sure you are backed up first of course

I have not tried that but I did uninstall the previous driver using AMD Crimson catalyst.

Not at all the same. DDU does a much more thorough uninstall the catalyst. Use DDU the let me know.

Thanks problem resolved. Had to install the latest driver is all, which somehow had gone wrong the first time.
