kinguin key deactivation

So i am building a new conputer for my cousin and he is on a strict bidget so i was thinking to get windows 10 from kinguin but people are saying that the key will get deactivated over time so is it a scam and what happens if it gets deactivated.

Just install win 10 and leave it unactivated till he can afford to buy a key from Microsoft or an authorized reseller. After a few days it will just disable some personalisation options, watermark the desktop and nag but thats better than worrying about buying a key that could end up deactivated.
