Hi, in the last few days my PC is having the problem of high memory usage. I tried to fix it (disabled Ndu & Superfetch, scanned for malwares and viruses, disconnected and reconnected the ram in my computer and the non paged pools isn't my problem) but none of these worked. I've keep getting 75%-80% memory usage in desktop (no programs open). Can anyone help me out?

Solution
Download Process explorer and run it as admin (it comes from Microsoft so its safe)

the default view is tree structure meaning like your task manager screen, it will show what processes are under each service, but unlike task manager, it shows the ram usage of each part so you can see what is eating your memory

Private bytes = actual ram usage
Working set = Ram + page file usage

This page shows what all the colours and headings mean, link at bottom of it shows how to use it to find problems. You can right click headers and run an av scan from within the program.

what are specs of PC?

What motherboard do you have? Does motherboard have Killer Ethernet on it? It is well known to cause memory leaks, if you have it I would check you have latest drivers (here: http://www.killernetworking.com/driver-downloads)

its likely a driver causing the leak, just have to work out which one.
