software for usb tv stick

hi, i bought a usb tv stick and came with a software (blaze hdtv 6.0) that doesn't record videos in good quality, and i downloaded other programs like pinnacle but it doesn't recognize or read the stick neither the laptop itself.so can anyone suggest a good software for windows 10 to record old tapes that i have.

The poor recording quality may be because of the source material. If you are digitizing "old tapes" they are probably not great quality to start with.
