Primary OS hard drive can be ejected at "Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media"

Hi Toms,

I am not so familiar when it comes to software. I had a fresh install of Windows 10 to a WD Blue 500 gb and like the title says, the drive is apparent at ejected devices. When installing Windows i let the OS create the system reserved partition automatically.
I am not sure whether this is normal or not. I searched along the web and was driven to some complicated details. I 'd like to know if this is the way it should be and whether there is a simple way to fix this or not.

That is setting in BIOS - hot plug for sata port, where your HDD is connected.
Disable hot plug option and hdd will no longer be considered removable.

The motherboard is an older bugdet H61M-VG4 Asrock Micro ATX and from all the times i have configured the BIOS i 've never seen such an option included within. But i just figured out that the drive is "hot swappable". I had no idea what it was before. This drive was used in the public sector before i got it. Any other options?

Your motherboard BIOS should look similar to this. That's where you find Hot Plug option.
