my newly bought laptop wont read any usb

i just bought a lenovo laptop model15IBD 80QQ it runs on windows10..problem is it won't read any devices i put on the USB port.
previously i copied vedios from my phone and it works fine when i tried my hard disk..transcend 2TB and a kingston 3GB pendrive it wont read it..i tried both the pen drive and hard disk on other laptop and pc..and it works just fine..what is wrong with my laptop then?

Honestly, I get the urge not to, but don't dick around with a unit having issues.

Return it, exchange it, and if it happens again you'll know it's you, not the PC, but don't risk your money to figure that out.
