Hi all,

I do not know what to do at this point.
My case:
Recently my old mb died, with my graphics card along the way. I bought a new setup, keeping only the hard drives. One HDD had a fully licenced Win 10 on, and some very important data.
So I tried to restart the old windows (which I expected to have trouble, because the old computer was really old) and tried for a half a day. No avail.
Then tried to reinstall a clean Win 10 from a USB.
My problem is that for some reason the new install is ridiculusly slow even to reach to the installation part (3 hrs to get to language select?!)
I am clueless why is that so.
My new setup:
Asus ROG Hero IX Maximus
Intel 7700 Lga1151
Corsair RAM 16gb
EVGA Geeforce GTX 1050Ti
The HDDs are SATA, Maxtor 120GB (for windows)
And WD 600gb
If need more info pls let me know.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Try updating the BIOS

Check the health of hdd in another PC if you can, it might be cause. If you fresh installing, you should only have the one drive attached or win 10 might decide to put boot partition on 2nd drive.
