Intel 2nd or 3rd gen. laptop with 4core CPU

Hello,
I wanna buy a laptop with Intel 2/3 gen. but with a quad core CPU (physical cores). HT is not a must (but if it is there, I wouldn't complain).

So is there some list of such a laptops? I'm inclined to Thinkpads. It should have ddr3 ram, hdmi out.

The i7 range were the only mobile CPUs that had four physical cores back then. There won't be a list because laptops with those CPUs have been discontinued for a long time now.

Look for a CPU with 'Q' or 'QM' in the model name as that denotes quad-core.

You'll usually find most of those in business-ish laptops.

A QM with a SSD still flies, but they suck down battery! I've still got an i7-2670QM and it's one of my favorite computers to date. Very quick still.
